Project Leadership
The fiscal agent keeps track of project income and expenses, pays bills, and is responsible for financial documentation. The project director and the fiscal agent must be unrelated individuals.

Grant Period
Foundation-funded activities may not begin until at least 30 days after notification. In determining the project period ending date, include 30 days for preparation of final reports. Projects are usually completed within one year. Funds may not be requested for expenses incurred before the start date.

Funds Requested
The cash cost-share must equal or exceed 10 percent of the MFH funds requested.

Signatures
The authorizing official in the sponsoring organization, the project director, and the fiscal agent must sign the application cover page.
