Reading and Discussion Program
What We Provide
First-time Applicants Receive:
- up to $1,000 (for scholar honoraria, travel expenses, child care, publicity, supplies, etc.),
- enough books for 30 participants,
- scholars directory (to help you identify an experienced scholar
- who is familiar with your theme).
Deadlines and Procedures

- A library reading and discussion application may be found at the download library, or call Hayley Wood at the Foundation at (413) 584-8440.
- Reading & Discussion applications may be submitted at any time.
- Notification is usually within two weeks.
